Each FlixBus has plenty of space for your baggage. In order for your trip to be as pleasant and safe as possible we ask you to read the following points carefully.

For safety reasons it is important that your hand baggage can be stowed in the overhead compartments above your seat, so that escape routes are kept free. Please ensure that all of your baggage is labelled with your name and address to avoid any confusion. Our friendly drivers are more than happy to help you load your baggage into the baggage compartments.
The additional baggage should not exceed the dimensions and the weight of the travel baggage. A fee is charged for this service. The fee for an additional baggage depends on the method of booking used. The booking can either be done online during the booking process or via telephone after the booking process. If a piece of baggage is registered by telephone via customer service, the fee is to be paid to the bus driver. In general, we cannot guarantee that there will be enough space for more than one baggage item on board.
You must pay a fee for a piece of baggage larger than your travel baggage. This baggage item may not exceed total dimensions (height in cm + width in cm + depth in cm) of 240 cm (94.5 in) nor a weight of 30 kg (66.1 lbs). Furthermore, special baggage must either be indicated during booking (provided this is possible for the trip) or after booking by calling customer service at the earliest 48 hours before bus departure*. Only one special piece of luggage may be taken on board per person. There is no guarantee of space. Special baggage includes, for example: skis and musical instruments (we recommend transporting these in a hard shell case). Special rules apply to bicycles and orthopedic aids. Certain items cannot be transported.

Many of our buses allow you to bring your bicycle of a standard size and without superstructures (max. weight of 20 kg) on board. These can be added to your trip during the booking process for an extra fee per item. You will select the number of bicycles that you would like to take on board at the same time of booking as you select the amount of passengers.
Carriage is on bicycle carriers. In special cases, carriage is only possible in suitable bags in the baggage compartment (e.g. folding bike). In that case, you must call customer service in advance to register the bicycle (see regulations for special baggage).
E-bikes, pedelecs, tandems and tricycles cannot be transported on a bike rack.
Strollers, wheelchairs and walking aids are transported on some of our buses for free. Wheelchairs and walking aids must be registered with us over the telephone at the latest 36 hours before your departure*. Strollers are considered as special baggage and must be registered with us over the telephone at the earliest of 48 hours before your departure*.
Please note that due to safety reasons, wheelchairs can only be taken along if they are foldable and without an electric device.
Musical instruments that do not exceed the hand baggage weight and dimensions (42 x 30 x 18 cm, max. 7kg) can be taken on board free of charge in your passenger compartment instead of a regular hand baggage. However, you store either your hand baggage or your musical instrument in the passenger compartments.
Musical instruments that are larger than the hand baggage measurements (42 x 30 x 18 cm, max. 7kg) are considered as special baggage and must be transported in the trunk of the bus in the appropriate transportation case. We recommend a hard case to avoid any damage. In this case each item will be charged of an additional fee on your booking, which must be registered no earlier than 48 hours before your departure time over the telephone with our customer service team*.
Musical instruments and their cases that are larger than 135 x 48 x 35 cm are excluded from transportation (e.g. double basses.)
