The court building and its surroundings are a tangible reminder of that long civic independence, and the site is worth visiting for anyone interested in Croatian legal and social history.

Turopolje Ethnographic Villages & Traditional Architecture preserve the region's distinctive building style in a way that feels lived-in rather than curated. Timber-framed houses, granaries raised on wooden posts, and old well structures appear throughout the villages, many of them still in everyday use. The village of Mraclin is a particularly good example, where the scale and density of traditional buildings gives a clear picture of how rural Turopolje life was organised for generations.

Chapel of St. Barbara (Kapela sv. Barbare) is a small but historically significant wooden chapel and one of the finest examples of sacred timber architecture in the region. Its modest exterior belies the craftsmanship inside, and the surrounding churchyard adds a quiet, contemplative atmosphere. The chapel is a reminder that Turopolje's woodworking tradition extended well beyond domestic buildings.
