There are many options to book your bus ticket. Here, you can find an overview of all booking options. This step-by-step guide helps you find your way around and book your ticket online, via the App, in a FlixShop, through Google Assistant or on the bus.
Once you've found your desired trip, reserve the seat(s) to add the trip to your cart. Your seats are reserved in the cart for 30 minutes, so you'll have enough time to proceed with your booking.

This booking confirmation serves as your ticket. Please show it to the the bus driver digitally or in printed form.

You can purchase your ticket directly with the bus driver, with no extra fees included. The receipt of payment serves as your ticket.
The easiest way to book a trip is using our FlixBus App on your smartphone. Your ticket is saved under “My tickets”. Present your ticket on your phone when getting on the bus. The FlixBus App, just like when booking on our website, gives you access to our cheapest tickets. The app also features exclusive special offers. You will also receive your booking confirmation by e-mail. You can also find the nearest sale point or FlixBus shop here. Our colleagues on site offer the same tariffs that you can find on the FlixBus website, plus the possibility to pay in cash. Reselling agencies might charge an additional service fee. At FlixBus shops, you can also pay in cash for the daily offered rate, plus a service charge per booking. If there are free seats available, you can buy a ticket from the bus driver. Early bird tickets, special offers and group discounts are only available online. When purchasing a ticket from the bus driver, vouchers cannot be redeemed and only cash payments can be accepted. The receipt for the cash payment is both your ticket and you booking confirmation. Please make sure you have enough cash with you. Currently, payments with EC cards and credit cards are only possible in Sweden and Denmark.
You will receive your ticket at the e-mail address that you entered during the booking process. It is attached as a printable PDF file.
You do not need to print your ticket. You can simply show the QR code on your ticket when getting on the bus. This also helps protect the environment.
Yes, you automatically receive an invoice for every booking. You can find it directly underneath your ticket in the booking confirmation. If you need an invoice with an address on it, tick the “I need an invoice” box while selecting the payment method during the booking process.

No booking confirmation received?
Check whether the e-mail confirmation went into your e-mail’s spam folder.
Error during payment?
Clear the cache (browser history), delete the cookies on your computer and try again after restarting your browser. Try paying with a different payment method. Please note that fees are added for certain payment methods. If a new window for your 3D Secure code does not open when carrying out an instant transfer, switch off your pop-up blocker and try again. Contact your bank to find out if you can use the selected payment method.
Error on the website?
Try using a different browser. Our website is optimised for use with Chrome. Clear the cache (browser history), delete the cookies on your computer and try again after restarting your browser.
