About ZOB Hanover

The ZOB Hanover, Hanover’s central bus station, is one of the most comfortable and modern bus stations in Germany. It is a meeting point for passengers from Europe and a stop-off point for international and domestic long-distance coaches. With 11 sheltered bus stops and the adjoining service center, the ZOB offers plenty of comfort and the best conditions for a relaxed and safe journey.

The entire site is suitable for disabled people and equipment with a tactile floor control system as well as a display with audible passenger information in front of the service center.
The ZOB is centrally located and just a few meters away from the central train station, where you can change to local public and long-distance transportation.
There will be several parking areas provided, e.g.:

  • 4 Kiss and Ride parking spaces directly at the ZOB
  • 20 parking spaces besides the kiosk and
  • 480 parking spaces within the car park (Contipark), approx. 100m away from the ZOB

The bus station is operated by DTG Deutsche Touring GmbH. Our competent employees are always at your disposal and will gladly help you during the daily opening hours from 5 am - 10 pm.

The city of Hanover itself is not only renowned for its academic institutions and international trade fairs, but as the greenest city in Germany it is also extremely diverse and offers a wealth of leisure and culture offers. The city’s most popular sights include the “Rote Faden” (Red Thread), a 4200-metre long pavement level guideline for exploring the city, and the Herrenhausen Gardens, an impressive ensemble around the centrepiece of one of Europe’s best-preserved baroque gardens.

Bus station

The service building offers passengers a waiting room with seating, luggage lockers, ATM as well as sanitary facilities including a disabled toilet and a baby changing room. Refreshments can be purchased at the kiosk. There are also four ticket offices from different bus companies inside the building. The service centre is open daily from 5:00 am until 10:00 pm. Bus stops

In the outside area of the bus station a 1400 m² glass roof provides protection from the weather and offers a friendly, safe atmosphere. There are a total of 11 bus stops on the grounds. A modern information system shows the current departure times on numerous displays and provides details regarding possible delays. Please note the relevant signage at the bus station, as well as the current traffic information from the individual long-distance coach operators.
