Moored along the waterfront, it offers guided tours that walk you through naval life aboard a working vessel, with original equipment and fittings still in place. It's one of only a handful of museum ships in Turkey and easily the most distinctive attraction in Gölcük.

Gölcük Seafront & Izmit Bay Promenade stretches along the town's northern edge, giving you an uninterrupted view across the bay toward the hills of the opposite shore. The promenade is at its best in the early evening, when the light softens and the water reflects the last of the day's colour.
