The building itself, with its wooden ceilings and cool stone floors, is as much of a draw as the literary content.

On Gözlü Bridge (Ten-Eyed Bridge) spans the Tigris River just south of the city walls and has been doing so since the late medieval period. Its ten arches, the feature that gives it its name, are best seen from the riverbank below, especially in the late afternoon when the basalt turns warm in the light.
