Real Casino de Murcia stands on Calle Trapería and is one of the most architecturally layered buildings you will find in any Spanish city of this size. Founded in 1847 as a private social club, its interior moves through a sequence of rooms each decorated in a different style, Moorish, Pompeian, Rococo, culminating in a spectacular glass-roofed patio. Entry is open to visitors, and the guided tour is genuinely worth the time.

Muralla Árabe is a preserved stretch of the defensive walls that once enclosed the Islamic city of Mursiya. Tucked into a small archaeological park near the city centre, the remains date back to the 11th and 12th centuries and give a tangible sense of the city's pre-Christian past. Interpretive panels provide enough context to make the visit meaningful even without a guide.

Teatro Romea is Murcia's main theatre, a mid-19th-century building whose neoclassical façade anchors the Plaza Julián Romea. Named after the celebrated Spanish actor Julián Romea, who was born in the city, it hosts drama, dance, and music throughout the year.
